What records can I access?    Indexing information as well as available images are show in the notices section of the Landshark website.  This information will be updated as more indexing information and images become available on Landshark.


What are the hardware/software requirements? click here


What are the fees to use LandShark? The tract information is available at no cost.  When you view an image, the cost is the statutory fee of $2 for the first page, $1 for each additional page.


Will I need to sign an agreement?  No.  However, you will be required to set up an escrow account.  Send completed Escrow Agreement to the Taylor County Register of Deeds.


Are there disclaimers I should read?  Yes, Click Disclaimer.

We are currently short-staffed.  At times, we may be running behind in verification of new documents being added to our database.  We apologize for the inconvenience.  Thank you for your patience.

All of the Taylor County tract books are now available on Landshark.  Under the Search tab, select Tract.  You can search either by a metes and bounds description or by plat.

Grantor/Grantee, tract data and images are completed for all documents recorded/filed after January 1, 1985.  Prior to this date, you can retrieve the image by searching by document number or volume & page (excluding mortgages).


All Certified Survey Maps and Plats are available on Landshark.

Under Search select Vol/Page and enter: Volume 5-S Page 003 OR

Under Search select Name and enter: Certified Survey Map #1234
